Before You Buy Press-On Nails: A Practical Checklist
A beautiful reference photo is a starting point. The details that determine what arrives—sizes, quantity, accessories and delivery terms—deserve just as much attention.
1. Confirm what is being offered
A nail image might advertise a ready-made set, a custom set, a salon appointment or only an idea. Find an explicit description of the item. Do not assume that rings, bracelets, toe rings or other styling accessories shown with the manicure are included.
2. Check the sizing method
Look for the seller’s measurement instructions and size chart. Ask whether the set contains a range of sizes or a fixed selection made to your measurements. Save the measurements you submit, and check the seller’s process if a nail does not fit. A label such as small or medium has little meaning without dimensions.
3. Read the complete contents
Confirm the number of nails, the shape and length, and whether the left and right hands have the same design. Ask whether application accessories are supplied or purchased separately. If decorations are handmade, check how much variation the seller says to expect. We cannot infer these details from a photo.
4. Compare the image with the description
Look for a full set photo as well as close-ups. A close-up can show decoration clearly while hiding how it is distributed across the set. If a color appears different in two photographs, ask for an explanation or a neutral-light view. Edited inspiration photos should not be treated as an exact color sample.
5. Work out the total cost
Add the item price, delivery charge and any disclosed extra charges. Confirm the currency and the destination served. For custom items, distinguish preparation time from delivery time. A worldwide shipping intention is not a confirmed shipping service to every address.
6. Check contact and returns information
Before paying, find a working way to contact the seller and read the stated returns, cancellation and damaged-item process. Ask how custom sizing affects those terms. Keep the product description and order confirmation so you can refer to what was agreed.
